Our time in Italy has come to an end. We were sad to leave our home base of Ferrara, and our good friends who had taken on some of our Italian adventures with us.
We road bikes through town, checking out the cathedral, castle and tiny shops down side streets. Dek got his first taste of gelato; I got my 30-55th taste.
My friend let me behind the wheel of her old Fiat Panda so I could try my hand at driving a manual car again. I never made it out of 1st gear, but I did get to reverse. Let’s just say it was a great beginning but I need a whole lot more practice.
I have videos to share and so many stories to tell from our two weeks in Italy, but we still have more travels to do before we are home. For now enjoy these snapshots and follow our travels on Facebook, but stay tuned for so much more!

Can’t believe your journeys are almost over! It’s been a wonderful tour. Loved your pix on Facebook and glad you are making the most of your time in London. Can’t wait to see more and hear about your adventures in person!
