Travel photos. We all take them whether it’s on our phone, dSLR, GoPro, underwater camera, disposable camera (yes, they still make those) or point and shoot. Most of your best travel photos will be dumped onto your computer or stay trapped inside a memory card and phone.
But what if there was a better way. What if you could get those incredible travel photos out of your camera and onto your wall, with little effort and a bit of creativity? It’s possible, and I’ll show you how.
Frame your best travel photos
My walls are filled with travel memories. Some are framed artwork we have picked up during our travels, while others are cool travel photos I’ve taken of my husband and kids in fabulous destinations. I love to matte and frame my images, but the larger those images get, the harder it is for me to frame them, which is why I turn to CanvasPop.
I recently got the chance to check them out and I wasn’t disappointed. The photo printing is superb, and as a lady who has had to print her own work in the past on large-scale digital printers, I expect excellent color when someone else prints my travel pics. My 16×20 print from Scotland came beautifully framed and packaged so well that no harm could come to the glass or edges of the photo frame.

Make a travel photo book

Awesome ideas, Keryn! We too have so many photos and prints all over our walls from our travel adventures. I love it, but I’m always on the look out for more ideas since yes, we have SO MANY PHOTOS sitting on our computers and phones. Love the idea of a tear-away calendar! That would make an amazing gift.

This is a great reminder for me to get off my bum and do it! It’s so easy nowadays to create photo books. I’ve made a couple and while it did mean a lot of screen time, they have brought a lot of joy as gifts to the family. There’s something special about being able to hold a book in your hands and share it with others.
