TASTE of Butterscotch Pudding from Cochon New Orleans

 In Food, Restaurants, USA

Welcome to TASTE, a delicious part of Walking On Travels that will give you ideas for your next dining adventure with or without your kids. For many of us, we loved checking out the latest restaurant before we had kids, but we forgot about food after the baby was born. It is time to reignite those taste buds and get excited about what is out there to be devoured and enjoyed.

What: Butterscotch Pudding

Where: Cochon, 930 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans, LA 70130

Why: Butterscotch goes with the holidays like wrapping paper and bows, but down at Cochon New Orleans they are serving up a butterscotch pudding that will make you warm and fuzzy in the spring, but you will wish it was offered all year long. This decadent dessert topped with a fluffy whipped cream may even rival the local beignets. It’s buttery sweetness melts in your mouth as your spoon dives in for more. You can never have just one bite, so don’t even try. Get it to share if you don’t want to devour all of those calories, but be warned, you may regret that decision once you get a taste.

If you have a favorite morsel you discovered during your wanderings that you would like to share, please be in touch. I’m always looking to highlight the best bites around.
