Friday Postcards from Lake Wentworth New Hampshire

Summer is winding down and so are our summer travels bouncing from one family and body of water to the next. Although we are in the Outer Banks this week enjoying the sand and surf, I still remember when we were on Lake Wentworth two weeks ago in New Hampshire. My boys spent their days kayaking and splashing in the calm, warm(ish) waters with their cousin. It was quiet, somewhat relaxing, and the break we all needed from the heat and humidity back home.

We may already be halfway through August, but I plan on soaking up every last drop of sun, surf and fun with my boys before they both head off to school in a few weeks. I may even take a nap.

Enjoy the rest of your summer everyone!

What a gorgeous lake view! I’ve not been to New Hampshire, but my husband and I are planning a trip to the New England states this fall. I can’t wait!

Both boys in school? You must be so excited. I really like the colors in your photos — the brightness of the boat and the light reflected in the water. It looks so serene and summery.
